Who I am

David Moylan, Creative Retoucher.

With over 20 years experience in the creative industry, David is perfectly suited to provide a professional high-end retouching service to all his clients, with the sole aim of providing the best creative solution to any brief, whether across either a printed or digital platform.

Over the years he has worked for a number of acclaimed photographers and art directors across various London agencies, either on location, in house at their studio or remotely on his own. One thing remains consistent – David is dedicated to helping them explore and achieve the maximum potential of each image, also making sure the project is finished on time and on budget.

David finds that the ability to combine his creative and artistic qualities with an expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software particularly Photoshop, allows him to understand and follow even the most complicated customer instructions. This in turn allows David to fulfil the brief and achieve the optimal result for the client.

What I do

Working as a freelance Creative Retoucher / Visualiser over the last 10 years and collaborating with established clients from packaging design, advertising and marketing industries has allowed him to develop and hone a varied skillset which includes:

  • Creating high res composite images based on design briefs or using my own creative input
  • Highly organised with a strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver to tight deadlines
  • Working independently on projects with minimal supervision or as part of a team
  • Editing in multiple colour profiles – RGB, CMYK and DCS work
  • Working closely with both design and production teams to resolve any issues
  • Overseeing other retouchers and delegating work to complete a project
  • Prepare, name, and file all images according to specific procedures
